Culinary All-Inclusive

Culinary All-Inclusive is designed for flavor-forward families, aiming to leave kitchen chores behind on vacation.

Private chef-prepared meals are included throughout your stay, highlighted by a five-course dining experience in the Nick Lake Lodge Coach House.

    After Booking:

    You’ll receive a confirmation email with your stay details and invite you to a complimentary pre-stay concierge call

    • During the concierge call, we will:

      • Walk through menu options

      • Review dietary restrictions

      • Confirm serving quantities

      • Schedule your complimentary on-site family photography session

      • Answer questions and coordinate any additional reservations

  • Daily Meal Prep

    • Your selected entrées will be prepared, packaged, and staged in the fridge the morning of your arrival

    • All dishes will be clearly labeled by meal and reheating instructions

    • Upon Chef’s arrival:

  • Chef Christopher Ray is a Certified Chef with the USPCA and a member of the World Association of Chef’s Societies. His approach is grounded in true farm-to-table cooking, built on strong relationships with regional farmers and producers who supply the fresh, local ingredients that define his food. His style is professional, ingredient-driven, and intentional—focused on clean flavors and a high standard of preparation that elevates every dish he serves.

    Chef Ray began his career on the piers of Seattle and went on to build a respected culinary presence across the Twin Cities and beyond. He has written two books on game cookery and is known nationally for his clean flavors, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality.

    His partnership with Adam, owner of Schliesmann Estates, is built on shared values. Together, they believe that great food, warm hospitality, and a Northwoods setting create the kind of moments families remember. Premium 2026 Polaris UTVs or snowmobiles are delivered directly to the lodge for three full days of riding, complete with pre-mapped trail routes and suggested local favorites. Additionally, enjoy professionally guided fishing experiences tailored to the season.

    During the concierge call, we will:

    • Confirm preferred days for UTV or snowmobile use

    • Coordinate delivery and pickup timing at the lodge

    • Review guided fishing preferences and seasonal conditions

    • Schedule your complimentary on-site family photography session

    • Answer questions and coordinate any additional reservations if desired

    After the call:

    • We’ll provide your group with a custom daily itinerary plan outlining exactly what to expect, making it easy to share with everyone in your party

    If you prefer not to schedule a call:

    • We can collect the same information via email instead

  • UTV & Snowmobile Access

    • Machines are delivered directly to Nick Lake Lodge on the day of your choosing

    • Delivery timing is confirmed during the pre-stay concierge call

    • Immediately after delivery:

      • Our partner provides a detailed safety walkthrough on how to operate the machines

      • Instructions are provided for navigation systems, music controls, and vehicle features

      • Helmets are provided when necessary

      • A safety waiver is reviewed and signed by all parties

    • Machines are picked up at the end of your riding window

      • No return coordination or refueling is required

    • Riding is intended for designated state and county trail systems

    • Support contact information is provided if assistance is needed during your riding days

    Fishing Expectations

    • Travis, our local professional guide, will meet your group on-site

      • Day and time are confirmed during the pre-stay concierge call

    Summer & Fall Stays:

    • If fishing on Nick Lake:

      • Travis will stage and set up the fishing boats already available on the property

    • If fishing on nearby lakes:

      • Up to three guests can fish at a time from Travis’s boat

    • One full day of guided fishing is included with the Adventure package

      • No prior fishing experience is required

      • All fishing equipment and bait are provided

      • Additional fishing days may be added based on availability

    Winter Stays:

    • The ice fishing setup is fully staged and ready upon arrival, including:

      • Heated 8-person tent

      • Comfortable seating

      • Pre-drilled holes

      • (8) pre-baited fishing poles

    • Travis can be available to fish with your group:

      • To assist with technique, rebait poles, and provide instruction

      • Level of involvement is based on your group’s preference

    • Preferences are collected during the pre-stay concierge call (or via email)

    Concierge Support

    • Concierge support remains available throughout your stay

      • Assistance with schedule adjustments, weather-based changes, add-ons, and local recommendations
